* Autism Support Group meetings

A monthly North St. Louis Autism Support Group is meeting on the first Saturday of each month from 10 to 11:30 a.m. at the Grace Hill Water Tower Health Center at 4414 N. Florissant, St. Louis MO, 63107.

Missouri Families for Effective Autism Treatment (MO-FEAT), in partnership with the Autism Society of America - Gateway Chapter, started this group in early 2010 in response to families in North St. Louis City and North County who were in need of support. These family organizations have a special interest in bringing support to parents of children with autism in the African-American community. However, the group welcomes all parents of children with developmental disabilities.

Many different people come to the Support Group - parents, grandparents, family members and friends. They meet to learn together, celebrate successes, and solve problems. The Support Group focuses on a different topic each month, and a professional from the autism community, along with the parent of a child with autism, lead the group together.
